Started With One Simple Idea
AV Floors started with a straightforward idea: install flooring the way it’s supposed to be installed, even if that means taking an extra day nobody asked for. We’d both worked jobs where corners got cut — subfloors skipped, materials rushed straight off the truck — and watched those floors fail within a year.
So we built our own process around doing the unglamorous parts right: checking the subfloor, letting materials acclimate, measuring twice before a single cut. It’s slower than some of our competitors, and it’s also why our customers don’t call us back about problems.
Today we install and renovate flooring for homeowners and businesses across Toronto and the GTA — hardwood, laminate, vinyl, carpet, stairs and repairs. Whether it’s one bedroom or a full office fit-out, the same crew handles your project from the first estimate to the final walkthrough.
We’re not the biggest flooring company in the GTA, and that’s on purpose. Staying a size we can manage well means the person who measures your home is the same person who installs your floor, and the same person who answers the phone if something needs a second look.
